I killed this bird on my buddies place in South Dakota. I sat out in the snow for about 2 hours before killing him. He stood up on the hill and watched for an hour before coming down. |
I hunted these birds on the way up to SD and was messed up by other hunters 3 times in as many days. On the way back through NE, I went back to the same place. No one there but me and these twins. Both are 3 year old gobblers with 1 1/8 inch spurs. |

I killed this nice bird the first day of our Kansas hunt. He had 1 1/4 spurs and you can see the long beard. Probably a 4 or 5 year old bird. |
I killed this 2 year old Tom in the same place I killed the big tom to the left. The hunt was actually a better hunt. I had to coax him down off a hill. It took about 30 minutes and several tricks to do it. |

| Emory killed these two nice gobblers on the second day of our Kansas hung. He seems to have a knack for bagging doubles in Kansas. Both were nice birds. |
