Hunting in Arkansas
(Spring of 2007)

I killed this nice 2 year old bird on my place on opening day. Lance and I set up together.  Two came in and I took this one.  Lance could not get a shot, so the other got away (almost--see pic to right).

I killed this nice 2 year old on day two of our AR season.  Blaze could not take the picture, so she posed with the bird instead of me.  I believe it was the bird with the one I killed the day before.

Lance killed this nice bird on my place on Monday after opening weekend.

Lance killed this nice bird early in the afternoon, after taking the bird on the left off my place that morning. Got his limit in a matter of hours.

Hunting in Texas
(Spring of 2007)

Our hunt started at 12:00 on Friday, and I took this bird at 2:30.  I killed him in in the same place I took one last year.  It was like playing a recording of last year's hunt, except Lance was with me this time.  (8 inch beard / 1 inch spurs)

This is Anthony's bird.  It is his first gobbler ever and he was very excited to get it.  He was hunting with Emory when he killed the bird.  It, too, was killed on the first afternoon of our hunt.  (9 inch beard / 1 inch spurs)

This is Bubba's first bird killed on Saturday.  It has 7/8 inch spurs and an 8 and 1/2 inch beard. This is Bubba's second bird killed on Sunday.  It has 1 and 1/4 inch spurs and a 9 inch beard.  It was the biggest bird of the trip.  Lance and I watched the whole show as Bubba was overrun by gobblers.
This is Emory's first bird killed on Saturday morning.  It has 1 inch spurs and an 8 and 1/2 inch beard. This Lance and his two birds.  He took both on Saturday afternoon with one shot.  One had 1 and 1/8 inch spurs and an 8  inch beard and the other had 1 inch spurs and an 8 and 1/2inch beard.

Hunting in Georgia
    (Spring of 2007)

This is Ed's bird taken opening day in GA.  He had a triple beard and was a real good bird. This was our last season on Four Oaks Farm.  It is the end of an era!

This is Georges bird taken at Tiny Bell during our Tiny Bell Reunion. He had 1 and 1/8 inch spurs.

This is me and my bird, along with my buddies Ed and George.  We are at Tiny Bell.

Hunting in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Kansas

This is my Kansas Merriam taken on our        second day in Kansas.

This is my Kansas Rio taken on our fourth day in Kansas.  He had 1 and 1/4 inch spurs.

This is is Tim's Kansas Merriam.  He was a good bird, also.

This is Tim's South Dakota Merriam.  I was on this bird a couple of days before, but he headed off the wrong direction.

This is Tim's Kansas Rio.  He was a wopper with great spurs.  One was 1 and 9/16 and the other 1 and 5/8 inches.
