What a deer!

This is Robert, one of my best friends from Georgia, with his daughter Alesha and her first deer.  She killed this nice 10 pointer while hunting with Robert on his place in Roughedge, GA (now they call it Oak Grove, but Robert and I prefer the old name). As you can see, Robert is as proud of Alesha's deer as he would be if he killed it--he has killed lots of good deer himself.

This is Fred's first deer, a nice 6 pointer.  He killed on Sunday morning, November 24, 2002.  He shot it at about 75 to 100 yards.  I believe you can tell that he is happy.  Now, with his first deer behind him, he is ready to start trophy hunting.  I reckon he is now hooked for life.
