The dog you see below on tree is Boudreau. He is a red leopard male weighing about 95 pounds. Boudreau is missing since about January 1, 2002 (still not found as of 5/21/2002).

Catahoulas will:

Work (good for rough cattle and hogs--nothing is too tough).
Guard your possessions.
Hunt (rabbits, deer, squirrels, hogs).
Be your best friend (when no one else wants to!).
Entertain and protect your children.

I have found Catahoulas to be very good with children, but I don't recommend my dogs for very small children--they sometimes like to play a bit rough. If you have children you might want to check out Hank the Cowdog.
